As a former Clinton die hard, well, actually, I am still, but I am over that, I was ready to go ahead, let bygones be bygones, vote for Obama.
My family wore me down, as well, and I always knew I could never vote for McCain and his dogged persistence in following bad policies to their illogical end.
But, lets be honest, the light has not been lit up with soaring rhetoric here lately, more reposturing in the middle for the general election, lots of fluff and nonsense and little memorable in the way of driving specific issues or proposals.
and then, it was like the light went on, my wife told me to watch it, and i unsuspectingly clicked on the paris hilton presidential video, now i know what chris matthews meant about that leg tingling thingie now dudes, straight up
yes, she is hot, you have to get past that first, but then, replay it, close your eyes and listen to the honeyed, eloquent words, befitting a true bipartisan leader...
now i see things in a different way, each moment is a bit more full of challenge and possibility, i want to rally i want to be there for paris, and i want her in the white house, cut through the red tape, in fact, do away with red tape entirely, a nice pink would be soooooo much better
it is not too late, never mind what those people say, if its love, if its paris, its never too late to refuse to say goodbye, never too late to write in paris...
it not her. when, if not now, who?
