Ludacris Releases New Obama Song

http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=52f_12174 34061&p=1

Ludacris, rapper and avid supporter of Barack Obama (Obama once claimed to have Ludacris in heavy rotation on his iPod) has released a new song called 'Politics: Obama Is Here' in which he attacks Hillary Clinton as an 'irrelevant bitch'.

Lyrics:
I'm back on it like I just signed my record deal
yeah the best is here, the Bentley Coup paint is dripping wet, it got sex appeal
never should have hated
you never should've doubted him
with a slot in the president's iPod Obama shattered 'em
Said I handled his biz and I'm one of his favorite rappers
Well give Luda a special pardon if I'm ever in the slammer
Better yet put him in office, make me your vice president
Hillary hated on you, so that b^$&%* is irrelevant
Jesse talking slick and apologizing for what?
if you said it then you meant it how you want it have a gut!
and all you other politicians trying to hate on my man,
watch us win a majority vote in every state on my man
you can't stop what's bout to happen, we bout to make history
the first black president is destined and it's meant to be
the threats ain't fazing us, the nooses or the jokes
so get off your ass, black people, it's time to get out and vote!
paint the White House black and I'm sure that's got 'em terrified
McCain don't belong in ANY chair unless he's paralyzed
Yeah I said it cause Bush is mentally handicapped
Ball up all of his speeches and I throw em like candy wrap
cause what you talking I hear nothing even relevant
and you the worst of all 43 presidents
get out and vote or the end will be near
the world is ready for change because Obama is here!
cause Obama is here
The world is ready for change because Obama is here!

Cute and nice to know this will be on Barack's iPod.

Wait!! By even posting this, I've picked on a wonderfully nice rapper so I must be a racist.  Zero me I say.  Zero me for such racism.

Apologies for Comment Abuse (2.00 / 2)

OBAMA CAMPAIGN RESPONDS

"As Barack Obama has said many, many times in the past, rap lyrics today too often perpetuate misogyny, materialism, and degrading images that he doesn't want his daughters or any children exposed to," said spokesman Bill Burton. "This song is not only outrageously offensive to Senator Clinton, Reverend Jackson, Senator McCain, and President Bush, it is offensive to all of us who are trying to raise our children with the values we hold dear. While Ludacris is a talented individual he should be ashamed of these lyrics."

God I love those guys.  Have you seen the live version?  It's fantastic as well.  I can't imbed for some reason, so:

Re: His lyrics are bottomless (none / 0)

You need to remove 2 bits from the Youtube embed code.

<>'s changed ()'s so it will show in comment.

(param name="allowFullScreen" value="true")(/param)

and

allowfullscreen="true"

Remove those two bits from the embed code and you should be good to go.

Good Luck!

I dunno...when I first started embedding videos from Youtube it worked just fine with no tweaking needed. Several weeks ago...ya started having to tweak the code to get it to work here.

Maybe it will get fixed when the rec/ratings systems do.  ;)

Ludacris called Hillary a bitch.

Now I CAN'T vote for Obama.

He also calls Bush mentally handicapped, which is probably insulting to millions of mentally handicapped people.

Re: Ludacris Releases New Obama Song (2.00 / 3)

I don't think insults and the like are justified, but really:

Ron Paul had the open support of various white-supremest groups. That doesn't make him a white Supremest.

I don't like the general idea that so many people can be declared taboo for certain bad things they do. In other words, if Ludacris wants to give money to establish a homeless shelter, I would go there and support it.

No comparison to this, but another way to view it.

Obama has nothing to do with this ridiculous song (none / 0)

from Ludacris. Unfortunately your diary linking Obama to Ludacris is silly at best. Obama has three very smart independent women in his household including Michelle, his single mother brought him up, before his grandparents took over. There is no way Obama will ever condone such statements against HRC or any other woman for that matter.

Pick another horse to ride.

Ludacris should shut his filthy mouth. Any respectful person knows that shit rots your brain, It's fairly obvious that Ludacris was not raised right and does not know the meaning of the world respect. If I was his mother I would be ashamed of him for speaking of a lady in such fashion. Point lost on many of you.

The lyrics in that song were clearly inappropriate, and the Obama camp has said as much.  Just because commenters don't take this diary or diarist seriously doesn't mean that they agree with Ludacris.

If anything, this shows that Ludacris is an idiot.  He does absolutely no favors to Obama with a song and lyrics like that.

It is a free country, and Ludacris can do whatever he wants, but that doesn't make him any less of a complete a**-hole.

Re: Someone tell Ludacris to STFU! (none / 0)

2way street.  If Ludacris was being sincere he should hired some consultants first.
He also should have hired a ghost writer.  his style as most southern and commercial rappers is very weak so when it's read outloud it doesnt' make sense.

now the other side of the 2way street is that he just wants money, and Obama = free publicity.
Funny how noone even brought that up.
